Entries Invited for Tadhg Crowley/Tom Creedon Cups 2016. Clubs intending to participate in the Tadhg Crowley and Tom Creedon Cup competitions are requested to submit their entires before December 21st. 

Tadhg Crowley Cup (Senior Football) 2016

The Tadhg Crowley Cup will commence on either January 10th or 17th 2016 (depending on number of entries) and will be played off weekly according to regulations as below. All entries should be confirmed to vicechairperson.cork@gaa.ie. NB: €100 entry fee to be submitted to Páirc Uí Chaoimh by Monday, December 21st. 

Details of the draw will be circulated when finalised.

Competition Regulations

  • Entry for Tadhg Crowley Cup is limited to the Senior Football Clubs in the 2016 County Championship.
  • First round losers will play for the Tadhg Crowley Plate.
  • Entry fee of €100 to be paid prior to competition commencing.
  • Prizes are divided as follows: Winner €800, runner-up €400, Plate winner €250, Plate runner-up €150 (or pro-rata if all clubs do not enter)
  • All games home or away with first team out at home in all games except Final
  • Rounds to be played weekly until completion with all games fixed for 2.30pm on the Sunday unless agreed otherwise by the two clubs
  • Extra time in all games and extra 5 mins e/w if required 
  • Replays if necessary must be played before next round is scheduled
  • Referees appointed by County Board.
  • No league points allowed for 2016 leagues except on Final if agreed

Tom Creedon Cup (Premier Intermediate & Intermediate Football) 2016

Entries are now open for the Tom Creedon Cup 2016, run by Macroom GAA Club in conjunction with Cork County Board. The competition is open to all Intermediate and Premier Intermediate football clubs (2016), and entries should be submitted to Pat O'Connell, secretary.macroom.cork@gaa.ie. 

Closing date for entries is Monday, December 21st. Details of the draw will be circulated in due course. 

First round games are down for Sunday, January 10th, with a round each weekend until completion.

Competition Regulations 

  • Entry limited to 32 teams max.
  • All games home or away with first team out at home in all games except Final
  • Final to be played in Macroom 
  • Rounds to be played weekly in knockout format, beginning on January 10th, until completion with all games fixed for 2.30pm on the Sunday unless agreed otherwise by the two clubs
  • Extra time in all games and extra 5 mins e/w if required 
  • Replays if necessary to be played before next round is scheduled 
  • Referees appointed by County Board.
