CG002 WARM UP FOR YOUTH AND ADULT PLAYERS (GAELIC 15)
Dr Declan Bowler, Dr Catherine Blake and Dr Edwina O Malley
7pm – 9pm
The GAA Medical, Scientific and Welfare Committee in conjunction with a working group comprising of Dr. Pat O’Neill, Prof. Niall Moyna, Dr. Pat Duggan, Dr. Kieran Moran, John C. Murphy, Dr. Catherine Blake, and Edwina O’Malley have developed the GAA 15, a standardised warm-up programme aimed at reducing the number of injuries sustained by GAA players.
The programme is dynamic and replicates movement patterns that players will execute during the game. This workshop will show coaches the latest scientific methods and technical details of the warm up exercises that best prepare players for the game or training session.
This is a must see for coaches of adult and youth players.
