Travel Information for Co. SHC Semi-Finals in Paírc Uí Chaoimh 2017-10-08 08:00:00

General Information
Páirc Uí Chaoimh opens at 1.00pm. Please allow plenty of time for your journey as you may encounter delays. Please note residential estates will be cordoned off and stewards will be on duty and there will be no parking at the stadium and environs. All spectators will be subject to a bag search. Please do not bring backpacks or large bags. Travel to Cork by rail or bus if possible and walk or take the bus to the stadium.
Pedestrians when leaving the stadium will have priority and vehicles will be held for pedestrian safety.

Important Information for Wheelchair Users and Disabled Drivers
Limited disabled parking is available at the stadium but only by advance application to Cork County Board. Standard disabled driver car stickers do not qualify for preferential access through Garda cordons or other official traffic infrastructure.

Public Transport Information
Bus services will be running from Parnell Place/Merchants Quay to Ballintemple, adjacent to Páirc Uí Chaoimh. Those travelling by rail, from east of Cork city, can avail of free parking at Midleton, Little Island, Carrigtwohill and Glounthaune railway stations.

Traffic from N25 and M8 is advised to take the Jack Lynch Tunnel and to approach the stadium from the Mahon direction.
