Junior C Football Championship Final 2017-06-22 07:00:00

The first County Championship final of 2017 takes place on tomorrow friday 23rd June, where Lough Rovers (Seandun) take on St John's (Duhallow) in the final of the County Junior C Football Championship in Carrigadrohid. This championship was introduced last year for clubs with small playing numbers. Both clubs will be hoping to become first time winners of this Championship and the second overall winners following Goleen who defeated Abbey Rovers in the inaugural final of this championship last year. 

The Lough Rovers/ Fánaithe an Locha Junior Hurling & Football GAA Club was founded in 1928 and is one of the oldest GAA clubs in Cork City, while St John's are one of the youngest clubs in the county, founded in 2010.
