Biography

Ciarán is one of the youngest players on the panel, making his debut against Dublin in last year's League, but the Eire Óg man has quickly established himself as a pivotal player on this team. He is no stranger to success, with County and Munster titles in Minor hurling and football under his belt, as well as Munster and All-Ireland U21 success, scoring three points in Cork's record Munster U21 Final victory over Kerry in 2011. A student at CIT, Ciarán says the best advice he was ever given was to play with your head, not your feet, though he manages to do both! His favourite sport other than football is hurling, and as a child he wanted to be a Premiership soccer player. He is also good at table tennis. If there was a transfer market, he would buy Bernard Brogan, and he considers the best invention ever to be the electric blanket!
