Munster Football Final Cork Vs Kerry 23rd June

The new Pairc Ui Chaoimh will host its first Munster Football Final on Saturday evening 23rd June with Cork squaring off against old rivals Kerry at 7pm. This is part of a double header with the Munster Minor Football Final between Kerry and Clare at 4.30pm. Match tickets are available to purchase on and all participating Centra and Supervalu Stores

The strong advice for patrons is to arrive early, avail of the many parking offers available in Cork City Centre and near Páirc Uí Chaoimh. It is also strongly advised to use the various public transport options to get to the stadium. Some important points of note are:

* There will be no parking at the stadium and its environs. Tow away will be in operation.

* Residential estates near the stadium will be barriered off and stewards will be on duty.

* You can pre-book your parking in any of the 4 Q-Park car parks in Cork City Centre (City Hall, Carrolls Quay, Grand Parade, St Finbarrs) starting at €7 for parking from 9am-9pm.

* Blackrock Hurling Club on Church Road, Cork Camogie Grounds on Castle Road and Cork Constitution Rugby Club next to Páirc Uí Rinn are all providing parking for match patrons. All three are just a short walk from the stadium.

* Those travelling by rail, from east of Cork city, can avail of free parking at Midleton, Little Island, Carrigtwohill and Glounthaune railway stations.

* Traffic from N25 & M8 is advised to take the Jack Lynch Tunnel and to approach the stadium from the Mahon direction.

* Bus Éireann will operate a shuttle bus service from Lapp’s Quay to Monahan Road. The shuttle bus service will operate with a ten-minute frequency, commencing from Lapp’s Quay at 15:30hrs and will operate until final departure at 19: 00hrs.The fares are €2.30 Adult Single and €1.30 Child Single, and Leap card and Free Travel Passes will be accepted for travel on the shuttle service.

* The shuttle bus does not operate post-match for health and safety reasons. There will be additional frequency on the 202-bus route which runs from Mahon Point to Merchants Quay in Cork City Centre. The closest stop to the stadium is by the Venue Bar on Blackrock Road, 200 metres from the stadium.

* Spectators will be subject to a bag search. Please do not bring backpacks or large bags
